The Duesenberg Model J is a luxury car manufacturer conducted by Duesenberg. Intended to compete with the most luxurious and most powerful cars in the world, it was introduced in 1928, the year before the crash that led to the Great Depression. The J model, available with a compressor, after 1932, was sold until 1937.
As was customary among luxury car brands, only the chassis and engine were displayed inside and the body of the car were tailor-made by an experienced coachbuilder to the owner's specifications. The chassis on most Js model were the same, as was the style elements such as bumpers, headlights, radiator, hood and dashboard. Duesenberg ceased production in 1937 after the financial crash .. However, two other Duesenbergs were produced between 1937 and 1940. The first was delivered by the coachbuilder Rollson the German artist Rudolf Bauer in April 1940. The last forever was assembled from components of recovery between 1938 and 1940. A sad end of career for a beautiful car.
